Our Restoration Work

Real furniture, real transformations. See how we bring vintage Soviet pieces back to life.

1970s Soviet Dresser Revival

Found at Kalnciema kvartāls flea market with a broken drawer slide and water-stained veneer. We reinforced the frame joints, replaced the drawer mechanism, and stripped back to bare wood before applying a soft matte finish that lets the grain breathe.

Minimal Modern Bookshelf

This solid pine bookshelf had potential beneath decades of thick dark stain. We sanded through four layers, stripped the interior compartments, and finished with a contemporary whitewashed effect. Works beautifully in Scandinavian and mid-century modern spaces.

Beechwood Armchair Refresh

A 1960s armchair with original beechwood frame came to us rough and dull. Through careful sanding and stain removal, we revealed the beautiful pale wood underneath, then sealed it with a subtle satin varnish. The client added new cushioning for comfort while keeping the structure authentic.

Plywood Table with Modern Legs

This functional Soviet coffee table had nice proportions but tired veneer. We restored the surface, kept the original inlaid pattern detail, and upgraded it with mid-century modern brass hairpin legs. The mix of authentic Soviet bones with contemporary hardware creates something unexpected and personal.
